Though we reside 60 km away from this dam, this is the first time we heard of it and visited for an evening outing. Google gives the exact location of it and helps reaching it easily.
We didn’t have much expectation before going and took only as a safe option during this fearful time. But it turned out to be scenic drive and a peaceful place to visit. Even before 8 to 10 kms, roads started becoming lush green, bluey skies with mountain range backdrop.
We walked up to the bridge which should be close to 750ms long. Standing on it, looking at 360 degrees, we were fully surrounded by mountains. Sun was setting that brought green color to the water on one side and blackish green with bright blue skies on the other side.
It was beautiful evening we spent in lush green environment after looong time. We had a new friend who gave perfect pose at different places and was along with us till we depart.
